Do I need to contact my charity to tell them I am fundraising for them?

No, you don't need to contact your chosen charity directly. When you create your fundraising page and select your benefitting nonprofit, we send a notification to the charity. In fact, we send notifications to our nonprofit partners every time a fundraising page is created or a donation is made. They are then able to track your fundraising and access the details of your donors (to thank and send receipts, if necessary) via their charity admin dashboard.
